Winning the 2009 Red Dot Award for Green design is this refillable Color Dial Spray, a novel design for a spray can that contains four color cartridges (CMYK) in the one can. Two dials (for hue and brightness) help the painter achieve the exact color required. The concept was developed by designers Kim Youngsuk & Kim Woosik of South Korea.

There are currently at least 445 openly gay and lesbian people holding elected office in the United States, up from 257 eight years ago, according to the Gay and Lesbian Victory Fund. Yet, most of the openly gay politicians who have won races recently have done so by avoiding being labeled as single-issue candidates.
